Branson Missouri | Just Click Branson - al-Bashir charged with Genocide

The International Criminal Court filed charges of genocide against the Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir. He has been charged with attempting to destroy African tribes in Darfur with murder, rape, and deportation. The chrages total up to 10 - three counts of genocide, five crimes against humanity, and two murder.

It is the first time the global war crimes court has issued crimes against a head of state, however it doesn't seem likely that al-Bashir will be going to The Hague in the Netherlands. Sudan is rejecting the court's jurisdiction, and that it is only for political motives that the charges were filed.

A warrant has also been issued for al-Bashir in order to stop the slow death of 2.5 million people in Darfur and are still under attack from the janjaweed militia that is backed by the government. The judges are going to take months, however, to study the evidece against al-Bashir before arresting him.
