Do you have a computer and don’t know what to do with it? This workshop is designed for beginning users who want to learn the basics. The participant will learn computer basics, including the desktop, icons, creating shortcuts, using Windows Explorer and more. (Shelly McConnell)

This is a workshop designed for beginners who want to learn the basics of Microsoft Word. The participants will learn how to create, save, open, edit and navigate within a Word document. Microsoft Publisher is a program designed to create newsletters, brochures, fliers, invitations, business cards, and many other communication

You’ve been asked to enter data in Excel, but you’ve never worked with Excel. Where do you begin? Or maybe you’ve worked with Excel a time or two, but still wonder how to do the basics – how to enter different kinds of data, how to edit data, or how to add or delete extra columns or rows. DIGITAL SCRAPBOOKING

Digital Scrapbooking has emerged as an activity that brings people together to tell their story and preserve their memories. Microsoft Publisher is all you need to begin Scrapbooking the digital way. Create a scrapbook using digital photos, download free templates for scrapbook designs, create labels, learn how to journal on vellum, and emboss on your inkjet pages. PUBLISHER: The Perfect Teacher’s Assistant

This workshop will teach you the fundamentals of Publisher and how to insert a photo, scan a drawing into a document, the basics of printing a postcard, calendar, and much more. They say a picture is worth a thousand words...........Find out how a digital camera can be an enhancement to your classroom, or just for fun! This workshop will show you the basic operation of a digital camera and a few tips to help your digital photos look their best. DIGITAL IMAGING WITH PICASA

Learn how to view, organize, share and edit your digital photos using Picasa. Picasa is free software and won’t delete your pictures, or put them online without your permission. It’s fast, easy, and FREE. Bring images on your card, camera or a CD, ready to be edited and/or shared, and bring your Google account info if you have a Google account. Would you like to take your special digital images and make them into a video for classroom or personal use? Windows Movie Maker makes digital movies amazingly easy and fun. This workshop will show you how to use this easy, yet powerful program. NOTE: This is not a digital camera or digital camcorder workshop. Bring digital images to make into a movie.
